3D Game Design with Unity and Blender

Mon, July 9 - Fri, July 13
10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Discover how to bring your own 3D game designs to life using Blender and Unity!

You’ll create your own game characters and environments and learn how to model, texture, rig, and animate them in Blender. Then we’ll bring the character into Unity, set-up a character controller to move the character around, and animate and code enemy behavior.

Along the way, you’ll learn scripting with C#, lighting and sound design, how to create blend trees for animation, generate game maps, create menus for your game, and more.

This program is at Another Castle, a co-working space in Greenfield for local game studios, designers, artists and developers. We’ll be at the location of Hit Point Studios and many other game developers, VR artists, sound designers, and other professionals.

Transportation from Holyoke and Northampton will be available. Please ask if this is something you would be interested in arranging.

I just registered my daughter for this and I’m interested in transportation. Is this a carpool thing or is there a bus? Please let me know.

We’re planning carpools with our instructors with pickups in Northampton and Holyoke.
