Blender is the free and open source 3D creation suite. It supports the entirety of the 3D pipeline—modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing and motion tracking, even video editing and game creation. Blender is being used for all kinds of 3D art, including game design, 3D printing, short films, advertisements, TV series, and feature films.
In this series of workshops, you’ll learn to create your own characters and environments and learn how to model, texture, rig, and animate them in Blender.
We will meet on Fridays from 5:30 to 7:30 pm on the following dates: 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26, 11/16, 11/30, 12/7, 12/14.
This workshop series will be followed by another separate series beginning in January focused on incorporating the art assets created in Blender into 3D games created in the Unity game engine.
