Computer Vision with Raspberry Pi

WHAT

Learn to turn use OpenCV, a popular computer vision library, to track faces.

We will walk through the basic of OpenCV, show some examples, then start with detecting faces in a photo, and finally detecting faces in live video. At the end if time allows we will set up an alert system to text your phone when your Pi sees a face.

Hardware

You’ll need a Raspberry Pi 3, a microSD card with the latest Raspbian, and the camera module. We’ll provide monitors, keyboards, and mice.
