Drone Programming

WHEN
Sat, September 26
10:00 am - 12:00 pm

WHAT

Learn to code a drone!

You’ll learn to program a drone to take off, fly, do flips, take photos and record video, and more. We’ll loan you a Tello Edu drone that you can keep for a week after the workshop. Drone programming will be done with Hermes, a Scratch-based coding tool created by our own Jacob Bashista.

We will provide a drone, batteries, a charging station, and a second monitor. A second display enables you to easily see both the class and your own code at the same time.

Class will be on Zoom. You will need a Windows or Mac computer and the ability to download and install Hermes. Laptops are available for lending if needed.
