Learn to turn a normal Raspberry Pi running Raspbian into a fully functional voice activated Google Home.
You will learn how to install the packages required, get your Raspberry Pi to recognize your microphone, and then write a startup script to run the Google Home service whenever you turn on your pi.
You’ll need a Raspberry Pi 3, a microSD card with the latest Raspbian, a USB microphone, and a 3.5mm self-powered speaker. We are still sourcing affordable microphones and speakers and will update this page when we have them available.
