Interactive Audio Visualization at Millpond.Live!

Tue, August 15
5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Join a group to design an installation at the Millpond.Live concert series in Easthampton!

We will be creating an Arduino controlled audio visualizer to accompany Tony Vacca’s interactive musical instrument installation on September 9th and 16th. You’ll design and build the visual response to the sounds of the balaphon, drums, and the gong. Participants at the festival playing the instruments will trigger the responsive LED strips creating their own light show!

We’ll meet on August 3rd and again on August 15 to refine our creations. An additional meeting will be scheduled as a site visit to test with the instruments and then we’ll install the devices on site just prior to the performances.
