Tell your own stories as an interactive graphic novel! You’ll learn to use Ren’Py, a Python-based tool that enables you to easily create visual novels with words, images, and sounds. You can combine multi-media capabilities and digital storytelling, offering your readers the ability to engage with your story and make choices that affect the outcome!
Do you love graphic novels? You can create your own stories with your favorite characters! Are you an artist? If you want, you can incorporate your own drawings into your stories! Want to learn to code? Ren’Py is simple to learn but also offers options to incorporate more complicated Python code.
Join us to try creating your own interactive graphic novel. If you like it, we’re thinking about offering a series of workshops to help people create longer and more complicated stories and games.
To register for this free workshop, please contact Rachel Dowd at the Holyoke Public Library.
