3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Come to the Lab and work on a Scratch project with some friends, get some help learning HTML, Javascript, or another programming language, learn how to create your own Minecraft mods, write mobile apps, make things with Arduino, or bring something you’ve been working that you’d like to share!

You can learn to create your own robots. We’ll experiment with different methods for designing, building, and coding robots with LEGO EV3 MINDSTORMS kits. We will have options to design robots for speed, navigating terrain, incorporating sensors, and other challenges. Or try WeDo robotics, integrating motors and sensors with LEGO pieces, creating alligators that snap at your fingers, monkeys that play drums! Or something you imagine!

If you’ve never tried programming or robotics before, we’ll help you get started. If you’re an experienced maker, come share your ideas with others!

This will be an unstructured opportunity for you to come explore, play with things, ask questions, and meet people.

All ages are welcome. Please register the total number of people that are coming with you since space is limited. Also, you can include a comment with anything you are particularly interested in doing at the Lab.
