Learn how to code with Micro:bit and make your own inventions.

 

micro:bit is a tiny programmable computer, designed to make learning to code and make things easy and fun!

The micro:bit board is inexpensive, but comes with some great features:

  • 25 individually-programmable LEDs
  • 2 programmable buttons
  • Physical connection pins
  • Light and temperature sensors
  • Motion sensors (accelerometer and compass)
  • Wireless Communication, via Radio and Bluetooth
  • USB interface

There is block-based programming as well as options for Javascript and Python. Micro:bit is a great platform for learning as well as building prototypes. Learn how to get started with Micro:bit at this workshop.
