micro:bit is a tiny programmable computer, designed to make learning and teaching easy and fun!
The micro:bit board is inexpensive, but comes with some great features:
- 25 individually-programmable LEDs
- 2 programmable buttons
- Physical connection pins
- Light and temperature sensors
- Motion sensors (accelerometer and compass)
- Wireless Communication, via Radio and Bluetooth
- USB interface
This workshop is part of the Raspberry Jam. If you are bringing a younger person, please be prepared to work with them. We will provide laptops and micro:bits to use during the workshop. If you have your own that you’d like to bring please note that in the comment space when your register below.
