Learn to program with Python! We’ll make games with Python, learning basic programming concepts along the way.
Python is one of the most widely used programming languages today. Python libraries enable you to easily write code for everything from making games and automating tasks, to creating websites and machine learning. Python has a nice syntax that makes it a good language for new programmers.
This class will meet on Mondays from 4:00 to 5:30 for 5 sessions in January and February (1/14, 1/21, 1/28, 2/4, and 2/11). The cost of $100 includes all six classes.
No previous Python experience necessary. Ages 11 through adults are welcome. If you’ve coded in Scratch or another language previously, some of the same concepts will be helpful for these projects. You should be comfortable typing on the keyboard. Bring your own laptop or use one of ours.
