Code is everywhere. Come learn to create your own code!
Program your own interactive stories, games, and animations with Scratch — and share your creations with others in the online community.
Scratch helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively — essential skills for life in the 21st century.
We will help people who have never used Scratch to get started. Facilitators will provide options for structured instruction with on-paper tutorials and challenges as well as support for those who want to explore Scratch on their own. We will also assist more experienced Scratchers and provide opportunities to share ideas and techniques with other coders.
The event is ideal for people aged 7 to 127. Kids under 17 should come with an adult. Laptops are available at the MGHPCC but feel free to bring your own if you like.
Please register to let us know you are coming. Space is limited.
