Vacation Week: Coding with Scratch

Tue, April 16 - Wed, April 17
9:00 am - 12:00 pm

During April vacation we will be making fun animations and games with Scratch!

Scratch is a visual coding environment that enables you to program your own interactive stories, games, and animations — and share your creations with others in the incredible worldwide Scratch online community.

You’ll learn how to make animations and tell stories, code a game controller, keep track of score, add extra powerups, and more. Make your own art and design characters for your projects. Learn about math concepts such as variables and functions and computational thinking ideas such a conditionals and iteration while building a fun game! We will have options for people new to Scratch as well as more experienced coders.

Come for just one day or all three if you prefer! When booking your space, please select the number of days you will attend and leave a comment letting us know whether you will be there on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.
