Do you want to create your own wearable electronics or home automation gadgets?
We’re excited about this new workshop with Rui Wang, a computer science professor at UMass Amherst, who has developed SquareWear and other open-source hardware projects.
At this workshop you will do Arduino programming using SquareWear – a wearable, Arduino-compatible board. The workshop will begin with hands-on experiments using LEDs and cover the basics of Arduino programming. You will make Arduino blink and fade color LEDs, sing a song, respond to light and temperature changes, and more. This can be used for lots of creative projects such as wearable electronics, sensors, and home automation gadgets.
This workshop is free! If you want to keep your SquareWear board, you can purchase it at our cost of $20. Select the SquareWear ticket during registration below. No need to pay in advance, just bring cash or check to the workshop or send payment via paypal to [email protected]
