Apply now to join a FIRST LEGO League robotics team!
We will have two teams, ages 9-14, working on the HYDRO DYNAMICS challenge!
Learn all about water – how we find, transport, use, or dispose of it. What might become possible when we understand what happens to our water?
We’ll design and build a robot with LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 to solve missions related to water and how we use water. We’ll also research and develop a solution to a water-related issue that we care about!
The fall season starts now!
We’ll meet Mondays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:00 at the MGHPCC in Holyoke. Our first meeting will be September 11th! Regional competitions are at the end of November or the beginning of December.
The cost to join a team is $150. Scholarships are available for Holyoke residents.
Team members are expected to attend meetings regularly and participate in the robotics and the research of creating a solution for the water problem the team chooses. FLL encourages teamwork, learning, cooperation, friendly competition, and fun! Parent/guardian involvement is encouraged; no knowledge of robotics is necessary to help guide kids as they learn.
