This Scratch workshop teaches students how to create a character and make it come to life.
Kids learn in a step-by-step process how to create a sprite using the vector drawing tools. They learn to create costumes that represent their character in different states (such as happy and sad) and animate the transition between them. They also learn techniques to make their character move and interact, asking questions of the audience, and interacting with other characters within Scratch.
